John Warner has been at College of Charleston since 2011. Previously he taught at Clemson, Virginia Tech, and the University of Illinois. He's a writer of fiction, non-fiction and humor and is a weekly columnist for the Chicago Tribune's Printers Row book supplement and regular columnist/blogger for Inside Higher Ed. Since 2003, he has been editorially involved with McSweeney's Internet Tendency, currently serving as editor at large.

John also serves as a weekly columnist for the Chicago Tribune and Inside Higher Ed.
