Kay Smith

Kay Smith came to the College of Charleston in 2005 as Associate Vice President for the Academic Experience and Professor of English, returning to the English Department full-time in 2014.  As AVP for the Academic Experience, Smith oversaw a variety of offices focused on enhancing student learning.  Smith was also instrumental in the development of the College’s First Year Experience program, writing and implementing the FYE Quality Enhancement Plan for the College’s 2007 SACS review.
